About Captain’s Cottage
The Captain’s Cottage is a fully renovated charming, farmhouse style cottage overlooking Grand Haven’s waterfront with three beautiful suites available for a wonderful visit to Grand Haven. The two on the main floor can be connected to accommodate large groups.
You have three suites to choose from: the Foredeck, the Aftdeck, and the Upperdeck. Each suite comfortably accommodates up to four guests.
Our Beautiful Location
Captain’s Cottage is located within two blocks walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants, the Boardwalk, Musical Fountain, Chinook Pier, charter boat fishing, sailing cruises and our municipal marina. Grand Haven State Park with its beautiful white sandy beach and our famous lighthouse is just six blocks walking distance while the Grand Haven City Beach is about eight blocks.

- A two-night minimum stay is required Memorial-Labor Day.
- Payment information is due at time of reservation.
- We have a two-week cancellation policy.
- Minimum age requirement is 21 to make a reservation.
- No Pets are allowed.
- No Smoking per MI State Law.
- Our parking lot accommodates one vehicle per suite.
- Rates are subject to change.
- Daily housekeeping is not provided, but a room refresh will be offered for longer reservations if needed.
- Check In is 3PM and Check Out is 11AM.
